Missionary Prayer Bulletin – October 15, 2014

KENYA—Armstrong Evangelical Bookshops are planning an outreach (for the first time) at the annual agricultural show in Kitale October 29 to November 1. Pray for each member of the bookshop staff and also the pastors who will be involved in this ministry, that the Lord would give the needed strength and wisdom for these busy few days. They are gathering together a quantity of Bibles, books, pamphlets, and tracts for both sale and free distribution. Pray especially for Spirit-led opportunities to speak one on one with people about the needs of their souls. This show is a highlight in the Kitale area and many adults attend as well as groups of students on school field trips.

A second joint choir rally was held on September 20 to continue with practices for producing a CD of hymns sung in Kiswahili. Attendance again was good and it was a very productive day, for which Kathy  thanks the Lord.

Kathy is looking forward to a visit to family in the States at Christmas time and extending into the new year to celebrate the sixtieth wedding anniversary of her parents. She thanks the Lord for His continued good hand upon them in her absence.
